Professor Cindy Veguilla Torres was born and raised in Salinas, Puerto Rico. Mrs. Veguilla holds a MA in Education. Throughout her career, she has 20 years of experience and has held positions in public service with the Department of Education of Puerto Rico. During the last 9 years, she has been working as middle school director. Having a professional and personal commitment with the youth, she deals with bullying on a daily basis at the school she manages; and is constantly working on developing prevention, education and seeking for new programs for the school. Now, as team member of 10-8 InService, she plans on continuing helping the youth in the community as she continues the fight against bullying and cyberbullying.

Mrs. Cynthia Luna-Santos was born and raised in Cidra, Puerto Rico. She has been married to her husband J.C. for 20 years. She is mother of 4 sons Jean, Johann, and daughters Carla and Mia. She earned a B.A. in Elementary Education and a master’s Degree in Primary Education from Universidad del Turabo de Puerto Rico, and which she received with honors. Also, served as a Secretary of the Student Council of the Graduate Studies of the Class 2004. Cynthia Luna has taught for over 21 years in the public school systems of Puerto Rico, later and currently teaching in the state of Florida where she was awarded as Teacher of the Year in 2019 for the Polk County Public Schools.

Lydia E. Martínez Santiago was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico. She brings experience as educator. Currently works as preschool teacher and finds a passion in providing support to children and her peers. As a woman of faith, Lydia became volunteer of 10-8 InService after the lost of her husband to suicide. She wants to help in changing the myth of suicide and in lieu of hiding the truth, she wants to help others in turning negative life experiences into positive and healthy ones.

Professor López holds a PhD in Educational Management and Leadership from the Inter- American University of Puerto Rico. He studied Business Education (Teacher in office systems) with a Master’s Degree in School Administration and Supervision from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. She is the mother of 4 children to whom she taught the values of Christian life based on love of God and his words. Enjoy the art of teaching, natural leader, lifelong learner and passionate about neurosciences. His work experiences have been in the area of education, playing different positions in the Department of PR Education.
